Brad Pitt’s history of physical abuse over Angelina Jolie allegedly started before infamous plane trip incident

Jolie left him after that incident

Angelina Jolie has made explosive allegations against ex-husband Brad Pitt, claiming that his physical abuse towards her began long before the infamous 2016 plane incident that led to their divorce filing. In newly obtained documents, Jolie‘s legal team claims that Pitt has imposed stringent conditions, including an extensive non-disclosure agreement (NDA), to prevent her from speaking out about his alleged misconduct, even beyond their joint business interests.

“While Pitt‘s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him,” the document reads according to Page Six.

The legal battle

According to Jolie‘s lawyers, Pitt‘s proposed NDA would cover all aspects of his personal behavior, aiming to silence her on matters unrelated to their French winery, Chateau Miraval. The documents further assert that Pitt reneged on purchasing Jolie‘s shares of the winery after she submitted sealed evidence in their custody battle, fearing its potential public exposure.

“Mr. Pitt refused to purchase Ms. Jolie‘s interest when she would not be silenced by his NDA,” Jolie‘s attorney Paul Murphy told Page Six.

“By refusing to buy her interest but then suing her, Mr. Pitt put directly at issue why that NDA was so important to him and what he hoped it would bury: his abuse of Ms. Jolie and their family.”

Meanwhile, a source familiar with the actor dismissed Jolie‘s claims, labeling them as attempts to divert attention from legal setbacks. Despite the ongoing legal wrangling, previous documents reveal a history of conflict over the winery and custody arrangements between the former Hollywood power couple.
