Halep suffers another income blow after secret Hublot breakup

Halep recently put up for sale one of her most precious houses.

Simona Halep’s income allegedly suffered another blow as she disappeared from watchmaker Hublot’s partnership list. This news comes in an already complicated context. The Romanian, who awaits a favorable verdict from TAS (CAS) regarding her doping case, recently put up for sale one of her houses.

Let’s not forget that Simona hasn’t been playing competitively since last year’s US Open. Simona, however, hasn’t confirmed the ending of her partnership just yet. In fact, she recently posted an Instagram Story with a special piece she got from Hublot on which the following message lays graved: “Congrats on your number 1 ranking.” The remaining partnerships on Hublot’s ambassador list are Novak Djokovic, Karolina Pliskova, Borna Coric, and Elina Svitolina.

““As an athlete driven by the ambition to make history in tennis, I am particularly proud of the opportunity to join the Hublot family, which already boasts athletes who have left their mark on their respective disciplines by becoming legends like Kylian Mbappé or Usain Bolt.

With Hublot, we still have so much to win, together!” Djokovic said as quoted by Hublot.

Mouratoglou explained how Simona Halep got contamined
Halep’s former coach Patrick Mouratoglou highlighted that he feels responsible for Simona’s contamination in a recent social media post.

“I feel confident for the future of Simona Halep with her appeal to the CAS because it is an independent tribunal. We have been able to establish where the contamination comes from. So we proposed her to take collagen and we brought her collagen from a company.

This collagen happened to be contaminated, there was no way to know it. But I feel responsible for what happened because it’s my team. So it’s me basically who brought her this collagen. We have done all possible tests to establish that we are talking about a contamination.

I’m very confident that this independent tribunal will recognize that she never did doping, she was a victim, and she has to come back to the court and compete as soon as possible,” Mouratoglou said in a video posted on his Instagram.
