Representative Bamidele Salam Felicitates With Muslim Faithful On Ileya Festival

Representative Bamidele Salam, representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, has extended his warmest wishes to the Muslim faithful in his constituency and across Nigeria on the occasion of the Ileya festival.

In a statement released by his Media Assistant, Joshua Afolabi, Rep Salam expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim faithful, urging them to use the occasion to renew their commitment to the values of peace, love, and harmony.

He acknowledged the significance of the Ileya festival in the Islamic calendar, noting that it is a time for celebration, reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation.

Salam encouraged the Muslim faithful to embrace the spirit of forgiveness, tolerance, and generosity, which are the hallmarks of the festival.

The lawmaker also urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of unity, tolerance, and mutual respect, regardless of their religious affiliations.

“Let us come together to build a nation where everyone can live in harmony and prosperity,” he added.

He wished the Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous celebration and prayed for Allah’s blessings and guidance upon them.

He also reiterated his commitment to serving the people of his constituency and working towards a better Nigeria for all.
