Where is Emma Raducanu ranked nearly three months after multiple surgeries?

Raducanu is on the verge of exiting the top-200.

Emma Raducanu dropped further 34 positions on this week’s updated WTA rankings and she is now ranked at No 186 in the world. Raducanu, a former world No 10, hasn’t played since suffering a Stuttgart first-round loss in mid-April.

After announcing multiple surgeries in early May, Raducanu exited the top-100 for the first time since entering it in 2021 September. Last week, a WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati was taking place. Last year in Cincinnati, Raducanu made the round-of-16 before losing to Jessica Pegula.

Since Raducanu wasn’t able to play in Cincinnati and didn’t defend her points earned at the tournament in 2022, she experienced another drop in the rankings this week.

Raducanu tipped to ‘comfortably return’ to the top-100
In a recent interview, former British No 1 Tim Henman tipped Raducanu to “comfortably” return to the top-100.

Henman, who followed Raducanu’s run to the Indian Wells round-of-16 earlier this year, explained that the Briton wasn’t anywhere near her best in the desert but still made a good run. With that being said, Henman believes that a healthy and fit Raducanu has the potential to do notable things.“At Indian Wells, one of the last tournaments that she played, up until 20 minutes before the matches, she wasn’t sure whether she was going to play.

She was training on court so sporadically, and then she still won three rounds and beat some very good players. [Her victory over Beatriz Haddad Maia was her best win by ranking since the US Open title. And that was on the back of no practice or training.

So, if she can be fit and healthy, she’ll get back in the top 100 comfortably and she’ll get back in the top 50. And who knows from there? So I’m very positive and optimistic. She’s such a great player that everybody would love to see Emma at the US Open, but she’s gonna have so many opportunities ahead of her.

She and we just need to be a little bit patient,” Henman told i.
